Role Description
We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer for our partner to lead the design of a high-quality, consumer-facing mobile application in the wellness and lifestyle space.
This role requires a highly creative, concept-led design approach, with the ability to move beyond standard app patterns and create a distinctive, emotionally engaging user experience.
You will work closely with the founder and development team to shape a product that feels thoughtful, refined, and intentionally different from existing market solutions.
Role Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from early concepts to final handoff
- Develop original design concepts that go beyond conventional app templates
- Design intuitive yet distinctive user journeys, interactions, and visual systems
- Translate abstract product ideas into clear, elegant, and emotionally resonant interfaces
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs
- Build and maintain a scalable, flexible design system that supports creative expression
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design integrity in execution
- Iterate designs based on feedback while preserving a strong creative vision
- Ensure consistency while allowing the product to feel non-generic and intentional
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating original, concept-driven mobile app design
- Proven experience designing consumer-facing products
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Design Suite and other design softwares
- Strong understanding of UX fundamentals paired with creative visual thinking
- Experience working closely with developers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to clearly articulate design rationale and creative decisions
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Good-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience in wellness, health, lifestyle, or emotionally sensitive products
- Experience designing products that intentionally challenge category norms
- Background in branding, visual identity, or editorial-style design
- Experience working on early-stage or design-led products
- Familiarity with motion, micro-interactions, or storytelling through UX
