Sap Finance Control Consultant

                Job Description:
SAP FICO professional with more than 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling modules.
Required Skills:
- Experience in SAP FI sub modules: GL (General Ledger), AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), Asset accounting, Bank accounting & Taxes on sales & purchases, Profound knowledge in Chile and Columbia taxes and reporting.
- Experience in SAP CO – Cost Element Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA, Product Costing.
- Strong experience & knowledge on Cross-modular integration with FI-MM, FI-SD & FI-PP, STO Process, Intercompany scenario.
- Strong Knowledge in Cost Centre Accounting: Organizational Structures, Master Data and all Allocation processes. Cost Centre Hierarchy, Assessments, Distributions, Activity Allocations, Indirect Activity Allocations, Manual Cost Allocations, etc.
- Working knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS) module from a Cost Accounting perspective. Specifically: Settlements, Allocations of Overheads via Costing Sheets, etc.
- Understanding of integration points between SAP FI, CO, and PS.
- Knowledge on Sales and Distribution (SD) Contracts and Billing.
- Ability to write clear functional specifications and collaborate within agile product development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with client’s functional consultant to capture requirements.
- Handling tickets raised by end-users, analysing issues, and providing timely resolutions.
- Work with Jr. functional consultant closely to mentor, guide & to be accountable for his deliverables
- Task to check financial postings, reconciliations, and integration points with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, PS & Others).
- Supporting finance teams during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Configuration changes in SAP FICO settings (like GL accounts, cost centres, tax codes) without requiring a full project cycle.
- Ensuring accuracy of financial data, correcting inconsistencies, and assisting with audit requirements.
- Preparing functional specifications, maintaining process documents, and updating knowledge bases for recurring issues
- Supporting regression testing when patches or upgrades are applied to the SAP system.
- Suggesting process optimizations, automation, or reporting enhancements based on recurring issues.

Additional:
- SAP FICO certification preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is plus
