                This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce brand in the wellness space, focused on expanding its product portfolio and scaling digital acquisition channels. As competition increases across paid media, the company is investing heavily in search engine marketing to drive sustainable growth, impression share, and performance across core and emerging product lines.

Fully Remote | Part-time (20 hours per week)

Role Overview

The Paid Search Specialist will take ownership of search engine marketing efforts, with a primary focus on Google Ads and YouTube advertising. This role is responsible for driving performance, scaling campaigns across an expanding product portfolio, and managing the technical and operational aspects of Google’s advertising ecosystem.

Reporting to the Director of Digital/Growth, this role is ideal for a hands-on SEM specialist with strong ecommerce experience who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and wants to make a direct impact on revenue and market visibility.

Key Responsibilities

SEM Strategy & Campaign Management

- Lead Google Ads campaign management and optimization to achieve market-leading impression share.
- Launch and scale SEM campaigns for new product lines with strategic keyword targeting and competitive positioning.
- Support YouTube advertising initiatives and explore emerging Google advertising products as they become available.

Technical Operations & Optimization

- Manage technical aspects of Google Merchant Center, including policy compliance and issue resolution.
- Monitor campaign performance daily and implement data-driven optimizations to improve ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates.
- Develop and execute testing strategies across ad copy, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and campaign structures.

Analysis, Reporting & Collaboration

- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with creative strategy and production teams to build high-converting ad creative and landing page experiences.
- Create detailed performance reports and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay current on Google Ads updates, new features, and SEM industry trends.
- Support additional paid marketing responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Experience

- 1–2+ years of experience managing Google Ads in the ecommerce space, with agency or in-house experience preferred.
- Experience supporting growth-stage or startup environments preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent related experience.
- Strong expertise across Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, GA4, and Google Tag Manager.

Skills

- Proficiency with Shopify, keyword research tools, competitive research platforms, and Google Sheets/Scripts.
- Experience with AI platforms, automation, and machine learning applications in SEM.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across cross-functional teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Excellent time management, execution speed, and sense of urgency.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to conceptualize ideas, initiate change, and adapt in fast-paced environments.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Natural problem solver with a positive attitude and high ethical standards.
- Passion for the wellness community and herbal medicine, with a vision for innovative consumer engagement.
