Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and client-facing Senior Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. This role goes beyond reporting — you will act as a key partner in helping clients understand the true impact of their marketing investments through data-driven insights.
You will own the design and execution of measurement strategies, conduct deep analysis, and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, can manage multiple workstreams, and is comfortable presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Measurement & Analytics
- Design and execute advanced measurement studies including:
- Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs)
- Geo-lift analysis
- Conversion lift studies
- Brand awareness and intent analysis
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support weekly client reporting and answer business-critical questions
- Evaluate marketing performance across channels and identify growth opportunities
Client-Facing Insights & Reporting
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives
- Prepare polished reports for weekly updates and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
- Act as a strategic advisor on marketing performance and investment decisions
Data Management & Dashboard Support
- Maintain and structure metadata that feeds client dashboards
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting systems
- Collaborate with BI teams to support dashboard improvements and data integrity
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, data engineering, and client teams
- Align measurement frameworks with business objectives and campaign goals
- Support experimentation strategies and testing roadmaps
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in marketing analytics or data analysis (agency experience preferred)
- Strong proficiency in:
- SQL (advanced level required)
- R (for statistical analysis and modeling)
- Experience with BI tools such as:
- Looker, Tableau, or Power BI (Domo is a plus)
- Solid foundation in:
- Experimental design (RCTs, geo-lift, incrementality testing)
- Statistical analysis and interpretation
- Experience working with:
- Paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
- Web analytics tools (GA4 or similar)
- CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)
