About the Role
UX Designers at Concord pride themselves on designing interfaces that are deeply connected to real-life functionality. They look for every opportunity to innovate in every project constraint. They are strategic, detail-oriented, and bring a deep understanding of interface design, user experience, graphic design principles, and a desire to serve our clients and users with experiences that meet their needs.
As a consultancy, our design process requires a lot of collaboration, and you’ll work closely with our cross-functional teams of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers to create digital products together. Understanding client needs and navigating relationships while building trust is key to success in this role. This requires dedication to healthy communication, flexibility, and rapid prototyping.
What You’d Do
- Lead the design process for our client from idea to production.
- Design interfaces for B2C & B2B websites and apps.
- Help form and guide project requirements alongside our clients.
- Build & document design systems.
- Effortlessly facilitate design walkthroughs and manage feedback.
What We’re Looking For
- 5-8 years of relevant design experience. At least 1 year of experience mentoring and leading team members.
- Experience with Mobile and Web Design.
- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Deep e-commerce experience with great examples and case studies to share.
- Desire to take initiative without all the answers.
- Ability to synthesize and present findings, and articulate the rationale.
- Experience working in a highly iterative, collaborative environment where people share work early in their process.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous client environments.
- Impeccable execution and care for all aspects of interface design, from conceptual thinking to wireframes & visual design.
- Ability to solve complex problems that Dribbble and design inspiration sites don’t have a pattern for.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Deep familiarity with Figma.
- Passion to impact and evolve our design process in cross-functional teams.
Additional Information
- Duration: 6-12 months contract. The possibility of renewal depends on performance and business needs.
- Compensation: Hourly pay in USD.
- Targeted Start: immediately.
- Location: Remote, Latin America. Preferred locations include Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia.
- Time Zone: Must be able to work in US Central Time.
- Equipment: Must be able to provide own laptop.
