Infrastructure & Platform Services Delivery Engineer

                Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Platform Services Delivery Engineer to ensure the delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure and platform services.
This role is responsible for maintaining secure, resilient, and high-performing environments across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid platforms, supporting Intel-based Windows and Linux operating systems, including Active Directory.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on operational experience, and a solid understanding of service management disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete server lifecycle, including procurement, provisioning, patching, decommissioning, and asset tracking.
- Implement and maintain server virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM on Intel VT-x/VT-d enabled hardware.
- Monitor server health and performance to ensure optimal system availability.
- Troubleshoot hardware and OS-level issues across Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Collaborate with network and storage teams to ensure end-to-end infrastructure performance.
- Implement and enforce security hardening standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including server configurations, runbooks, and change records.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to P1/P2 incidents as required.

Active Directory & Identity Management:
- Deploy, manage, and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
- Administer AD objects such as users, computers, groups, and organizational units (OUs).
- Design and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security baselines, software deployment, and configuration enforcement.
- Monitor and maintain AD replication health across domain controllers, sites, and site links.
- Manage DNS and DHCP services integrated with Active Directory.
- Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and least-privilege principles using AD security groups.
- Support identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
- Troubleshoot Kerberos authentication, LDAP connectivity, and trust relationship issues.
- Integrate server workloads with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) in hybrid environments where applicable.

Required Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Intel-based platforms.
- Experience with server operating systems: Windows Server 2019/2022 and/or Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in BMC/IPMI-based remote and out-of-band server management tools.
- Hands-on experience with server virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM).
- Experience with storage technologies, including RAID, SAN/NAS, and NVMe.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, VLANs, bonding/teaming, and Ethernet/InfiniBand.
- Ability to read and interpret hardware specifications and technical documentation.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience managing domain controllers, AD sites/services, and replication topology.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols such as Kerberos, LDAP, and NTLM.
- Exposure to software-defined or composable infrastructure platforms.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and monitoring.

- ITIL certification
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience working in GDPR/SOX regulated or large enterprise environments
- Exposure to AIOps implementations
- Backup and recovery experience
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals
