About The Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Construction Administrator to support our U.S.-based construction team. You’ll play a critical role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly by coordinating schedules, managing documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with U.S. construction practices. This role is ideal for someone in Latin America (preferably Colombia) who is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working across time zones in a fast-paced, mission-aligned environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative support for active construction projects, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
- Coordinate daily communication with U.S.-based contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors.
- Track construction timelines, milestone progress, and material orders to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Manage and organize permit applications, inspection requests, and compliance documents in alignment with local U.S. regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date records of budgets, change orders, and contractor communications.
- Assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders and project management tools.
- Flag issues, delays, or discrepancies to the construction manager proactively.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in a construction administration, project coordination, or operations support role (U.S. market experience preferred).
- Familiarity with U.S. construction practices, building codes, and permitting processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Proficiency with cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Procore).
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working remotely with cross-border or U.S.-based teams.
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, scopes of work, and construction timelines.
- Background in residential renovation or affordable housing construction is a plus.
