About the Role

We’re hiring an Accounting Manager to support one of our U.S.-based partners. This is a full-time, remote role for candidates based in LATAM, with strong collaboration and timezone overlap with U.S. teams.

In this role, you’ll own core accounting operations, manage the month-end close, and oversee a small accounting team. You’ll work closely with finance leadership and have visibility into strategic initiatives as the company scales.

What You’ll Do

- Own end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Manage and mentor junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Partner with FP&A and finance leadership to support reporting and analysis
- Support external audits and ensure proper documentation and controls
- Improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes
- Experience managing or reviewing work from junior accountants
- Proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and comfort working with U.S.-based teams
- LATAM-based with reliable overlap with U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

- Experience in startups or high-growth environments
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency accounting
- Experience supporting audits or system implementations

Selection Process
