Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Spanish to English Interpreter specializing in Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI). The interpreter will facilitate effective communication between Spanish and English-speaking parties in various settings, including medical, legal, and business contexts. Responsibilities include interpreting conversations in real-time, maintaining cultural sensitivity, and delivering accurate and professional language services. The interpreter is also expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to industry standards.

Qualifications
- Proficiency and fluency in both Spanish and English with good Interpretation expertise
- Experience in Simultaneous Interpretation and Interpreting in diverse professional settings
- Familiarity with Translation and other Language Services tools and techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment
- Professional certification in interpreting or related credentials (e.g., CCHI, NBCMI) preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare, legal, or business interpretation is a plus
- Strong ethical standards and client confidentiality awareness
- High school diploma in the Spanish language.

Technical Requirements:
As this position is fully remote, you MUST comply with several technical requirements for your computer. We need to be sure that your home office will work effectively.

- Computer or laptop should be Windows 10 or newer, with minimum 6th Gen processor or AMD equivalent.
- MacOS Monterey 12.5 or later.
- The working machine should have a 8 GB RAM Minimum.
- WEBCAM: Minimum 1080p resolution. Must be built-in or external webcam connected through USB. (Cellphone cameras used as webcams are not allowed).
- We require an excellent ethernet connection (Wired Ethernet cable to router/modem) (Wi-Fi and Satellite Internet connection are not allowed such as Starlink, wireless hotspots, 5G modems or dish antennas) Internet speed of 4Mbps Download/Upload.
- Noise-canceling, USB or USB-C wired headset with built-in microphone (no wireless or Bluetooth headsets permitted).
