                Core KPIs:
● Deployment Timeliness: Percentage of installations completed on schedule.
● Platform Adoption: Operator engagement and usage rate of Chalo’s tools
● Service Uptime: Maintain 95%+ uptime across systems.
● Training Coverage: Train 100% of operators and field teams on new product features
within defined timelines.
● Feedback Loop Closure: Close feedback actions from city/partner operations within set
SLAs
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Execution:
● Manage end-to-end deployment of Chalo’s hardware and software solutions, including
AFCS, cameras, and GPS
● Ensure seamless onboarding of operators (includes deployment and training) and smooth
implementation of the Chalo platform
● Monitor real-time operational dashboards and proactively address system to ensure
reliability and continuity
● Manage a team of operations executives to drive the daily city operations and managing
clients success
● Create process / workflows and drive them for managing daily on field city operationsStakeholder Management:
● Engage and maintain strong relationship with government bodies, regulatory authorities,
operators, vehicle manufacturers, financers, local ecosystem partners and local associations
to support expansion of Chalo’s footprint
● Serve as the primary point of contact (to clients and internal stakeholders in India
headquarter) for operational and technical concerns post-deployment
● Coordinate with internal product, tech, and business teams to deliver excellent customer
service and partner support.
● Identify and manage vendors for hardware deployment (like Sim cards, DC convertors,
Metal base manufacturers etc.)
● Identify and manage vendors locally to source technicians and promoters installing specific
part of hardware like GPS etc.
● Support on ground market research (like competition benchmarking) to develop strategy for
scaling up the market
Product Operations Enablement:
● City Requirements Management: Create and manage structured processes to capture
partner requirements, ensuring visibility, accountability, and timely action.
● Configuration and Updates Management: Act as the first point of support for platform
configuration changes
● Adoption and Engagement: Work closely with product teams to drive user adoption
metrics
● Feedback and Sprint Support: Gather operational and partner feedback systematically,
prioritize and relay them to product and tech teams, and support sprint management on
operational actions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
● Language Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a relevant field.
● Experience: 3–5 years of experience in operations, business development, or a product/ops
hybrid role. Experience in transport, mobility tech, or fast-paced tech operations is a strong
advantage.
● Skills:
○ Strong project management and communication skills.
○ Tech-oriented, comfortable using dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets, and data analysis
tools
○ Ability / willingness to travel extensively on field and manage a distributed team of field
agents
○ Process-oriented with the ability to set up, monitor, and optimize workflows.
○ Strategic mindset to identify market opportunities and align operations with broader
business goals
○ Problem-solving ability with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
