                Position: Project Manager – Payroll & Time & Attendance
Location: LATIN
Contract Position

Summary
The Project Manager – Payroll & Time & Attendance will lead HR technology and operations initiatives, focusing on payroll systems, time tracking, and related integrations. This role manages project delivery from strategy through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate has deep experience in Workday, payroll systems, and full lifecycle project management.
Key responsibilities
Project leadership
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with HR, IT, and vendor partners.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, and resources.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.

Technical execution and documentation
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and process documentation.
- Maintain clear records for integrations, system configurations, and workflows.
- Partner with HR Operations to align processes and ensure organizational readiness.

Team and stakeholder coordination
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, facilitate meetings, and ensure accountability.
- Assign tasks, track progress, and support issue resolution.
- Communicate project status, updates, and insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Vendor and integration management
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams to implement and test integrations.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between Workday, payroll systems, and time and attendance platforms.

Risk and change management
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage change communications and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience:
- 5+ years of HR project management experience, including end-to-end payroll as well as broader HR project experience.
- Hands-on experience with Workday, payroll platforms, and system integrations.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Technical skills:
- Strong proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
- Soft skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.
